Ekwendeni Mission Hospital has existed since the 1889, after being established by Scottish missionaries as a dispensary. It is a 230-bed capacity hospital owned by CCAP Synod of Livingstonia since 1962 and registered under Christian Health Association of Malawi. It is located in north east part Mzimba (largest district in Malawi), about 25 km from Mzuzu city along the M1 road to Karonga.

It has a catchment of 600 sq km, serving a population of over 74,000 people and also a referral population of over 200,000 people from neighboring areas, district in northern region and Tanzania and Zambia. It has 297 staff members working in clinical, nursing, Primary Health Care, administration, maintenance and Chaplaincy departments. These provide preventive, curative and rehabilitative health services to patients and the community.

Started in May 1931, LCH is located in the township of Mussoorie, at 7,000 feet above sea level in the Himalayan foothills. It serves the people of the township as well as the nearby villages. The hill people in the villages are very poor, living at a subsistence level, with high infant and maternal mortality rates, compounded by malnutrition. Many are refugees from Tibet and Nepal.

Mukinge Hospital was founded by Dr. Bob Foster in the early 1950's in the Kasempa area of Zambia. It has 200 beds divided between 7 separate inpatient wards for general medical/surgical, maternity (1,300 - 1400 deliveries a year), acute paediatrics, malnutrition, isolation, and TB. In addition, it includes an active out-patient department and numerous support services. Vom Christian Hospital is situated on Jos Plateau at a height og 400ft. The nearest large town Bukuru is 12 miles away. It was established in 1922 by Dr and Mrs Barnden and developed into a small district general hospital.
