Passports & Visas
Check your need for a visa (liase with the embassy of the country you are visiting – you can look them up on the web or in the telephone directory). These can take a long time to process, so start early. Also check to see if you need a police check – some countries will insist upon this before they will process your visa if you’re going to be working with children. Also check the expiry date of your passport – it usually has to be valid for 6 months after the date you plan to return home!
