Healthcare Mission Forum
Over eighty people attended the forum in London last November. Many people have commented on the energy and excitement in the room as people discussed the major issues affecting Christian healthcare amongst the poor and marginalised.
Out of the meeting and number of ideas have sprung that will be tackled in future meetings of the forum. The aim is that this is not just a talking shop, but that it should offer a chance for a genuine exchange of ideas, example of best practise, etc. with the hope that this will encourage and assist those working in the field and their sending organisations in the UK.
This year's forum is provisionally arranged for November 27th, and will look in depth at the issues facing the mission hospital in the 21st century. More details to follow.
A report on the meeting can be found at www.globalconnections.co.uk, or by contacting the MMA HealthServe office
