'Developing Mental Health: A International Journal for Mental Health Care'
'Developing Mental Health: A International Journal for Mental Health Care' is now published by the International Community Trust for Health & Educational Services ( ICTHES), supported by MMA HealthServe, CCOM and Global Connections (among others).
This is pilot edition to see if there is sufficient interest and need for ongoing publication. It includes some excellent articles on mental health care for leprosy patients in Nepal, a practical programme for managing patients with acute mental illness (especially helpful for non-psychiatrists), a look at an innovative mental health project in Pakistan using the local mosque and religious communities, and several other short articles, abstracts and reviews.
This is a potentially useful publication for those involved in all aspects of healthcare in the developing world, not just those specialising in mental health.
