On November 26 2003, the third annual Healthcare Mission Forum was held at Partnership house in London on theme of 'The Future of Healthcare Mission in Sub-Saharan Africa'. Over seventy people attended the day, which included seminars on HIV/AIDS, strategies to tackle the growing attrition of national Christian health professionals, the future of Christian hospitals in Africa, short-term visits, and the impact of leprosy and new strategies in leprosy care and control. A plenary session on Community Health Evangelism sparked a lot of interest in how primary care can come to the top of the agenda for Christian outreach in the continent.
