Editorial
Looking from here one sees a rapidly changing kaleidoscope of bright colours and intense experiences.

Ted Lankester paints a picture of change in Asia that in some ways has gone full circle and also of the prognosis for world health that in a few years has changed from optimism to gloom but is full of opportunity for service.

Howard Lyons introduces us to 'Christians in Healthcare' who have agreed to contribute to Saving Health - both articles and costs. As a hospital management consultant he represents part of the rapidly changing culture at home but he also has a vision for overseas.

Ludhiana Christian College helps care for patients intense pain from fire and trained the postgraduate doctors now working in a hot lonely place where there is no mobile phone but only a bell. For them as for the Cordells coming down from the mountains to work in the hot crowded terai of Nepal, it is people that count not scenery. Down there they may feel that things will never change.

A medical student travelling on an elective looks through the culture shock of change for what is important and another student takes three years off from his studies to concentrate on a worm and possibly a new disease. The creator God who never changes reaches down to open our eyes.
