1.4 Cultural and social concerns
Everyone who works overseas has to adapt, to learn from and respect a different culture. Sadly some decide to live within the insularity of an expatriate cocoon, unwilling to change and thus unable to identify with those among whom they work. Such an attitude weakens their professional work and seriously limits their personal growth and spiritual effectiveness.
