7.2 Travel and Insurance
Key Travel offer good rates to mission personnel. www.keytravel.co.uk/christian_travel.php

British Airways may allow extra weight to charity workers. Contact their Customer Relations Department. www.britishairways.com/travel/bagunacc/public/en_gb#excessbags Other airlines may have comparable arrangements so it is well worth enquiring.

Be aware:
Most airways place restrictions on the weight of any one item. Check before you get to the airport!

Banner Financial Services can advise on travel insurance www.bannergroup.com/index.htm

Unimatco http://www.unimatco.co.uk specialises in freighting and procurement for mission and relief agencies.

As a general rule, don't take more on the plane than you can manage to carry yourself. When you have to depend on someone else to help and you will usually find more than enough ready helpers at your destination bags can disappear. NEVER leave your bags unattended or out of sight, even in a locked vehicle.
